Gordy's is a locally owned and managed family oriented restaurant serving a variety of fresh salads, oven roasted subs (some opened faced), unique pastas, and pizza voted the best in Goshen. Saturday night we feature a salad and pizza buffet and Sunday features a buffet lunch with a great variety of entrees. The menu is all available for carry out or they provide seating for 130. About Us...
Founded in 1909, Goshen General Hospital is a 121-bed general medical/surgical facility. James O. Dague, FACHE, was appointed President and CEO on 3-27-95. Goshen Health System, founded in 1995, is affiliated with the Indianapolis-based Clarian Health, Inc. (IU, Methodist & Riley Hospitals). GHS members include: Goshen General Hospital, Center for Cancer Care, Retreat Women's Health Center, TEAM:Bariatrics, Healthy Generations, PrimeCare Physicians Network, Park Home Medical Equipment, Care at Home and Hospice Services, and Indiana Lakes Managed Care Organization. In 2004, GGH became one of 134 hospitals nationally to receive Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center for excellence in nursing services. In 2005, the Center for Cancer Care received the Outstanding Achievement Award and additional commendations by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. Only seven percent of approved cancer hospitals in the United States earn this award. In 2006 and 2007, Goshen Health System was named one of the "Best Places to Work in Indiana" by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. A major expansion and renovation of the hospitals ED, ICU and surgical departments was completed in 2007.
